Sharad Acharya has more than eight years of experience in the software engineering field in multiple business domains, including supply chain, insurance, banking, and mortgage. His expertise includes design, development, and the integration of large-scale software systems. Some of his works include several published articles, a pattern language, and a commercial test engine for Sun Certified Web Component Developer exam. He has spoken at some well-recognized conference proceedings and technical sessions. Mr. Acharya holds a MS degree in computer science and several Sun certifications, including Enterprise Architect for J2EE technology. Software architecture, software process management, and statistical modeling and forecasting are some of his research interest areas.
