Brian Gilman is a Group Leader in the Medical And Population Genetics
Department at the Whitehead Institute Center For Genome Research. Brian
provides software solutions and architectural direction to developers at the
Whitehead Institute. He has been a software engineer and scientific
consultant for 6+ years. Brian is currently the co-chair of the Technical
Architecture working group for the I3C, an organization dedicated to
providing solutions to interoperability problems in the Life Sciences. When
not writing, Brian enjoys playing jazz trumpet, drumming, and spending time
with family and friends in Cambridge Mass.
