  I'm not yet hip to podcasting, yet nevertheless followed the instructions to download the MPEG.
  
  I found the information important and well-presented, but felt I'd like to listen to it later. Alas, I couldn't stop the podcast. I searched for a player window of some kind on my desktop to no avail.
  
  Why not have a stop button on the page for us neophytes.
  
  Otherwise thank you for your work. BTW I own your Mac OS "missing" manual.

  This is a fast-paced and humorous "how to" on using Spotlight; excellent. I listened to it while waiting for the bus and learned some handy tips. (Command-spacebar rules!)
  We want more Pogue Podcasts!

  The podcast works just fine in iTunes 4.9. However, the description as shown in iTunes includes the HTML for an image. That really screws things up. It does show in iPodderX. You might want to put the image AFTER the text, so that the text shows in iTunes.

  A backend update yesterday afternoon (July 27) borked the podcast feed until this morning (July 28). It should be operational again now.

  ...is a podcast feed in the strictest sense. We're including enclosure metadata in each feed item so that your Podcatching application can automatically download the audio content. We have not implemented the new itunes-specific metadata tags.

  I tried copy/pasting the feed URL, dragging it, and searching the podcast directory/clicking subscribe, but iTunes has repeatedly flagged it as an invalid podcast feed url. I'll listen to the podcast, but I'd really like to add the feed to iTunes.

  Let's start a new trend! I invite you to subscribe to the first truly closed-captioned podcast. I produce "tecnocato" and it is now closed-captioned. I also post the transcripts (from the captions) in the podcast's website.
  
  If the response is positive, I am seriously considering making an episode to show how to make your your own closed-captioned video podcast.
  
  This is not officially supported by iTunes but it works... let's hope that they add more functionality in the upcoming upgrades and devices.

  Copy URL from the linked text "O'Reilly Network Podcast" above (the URL is http://www.oreillynet.com/pub/feed/32?format=rss2 ), go to iTunes, choose "Subscribe to Podcast" from the "Advanced" menu, and paste the URL into the dialog.

  Possibly easier is to drag the link "O'Reilly Network Podcast" into Itunes and drop it on the Podcasts source.
